AVL Sys

AVL Sys is a web based automated vehicle tracking system designed to locate vehicles (or fleet of vehicles) to be located is fitted with a GPS system. The vehicle fitted with the GPS module, with the help of GPS technology or GPRS connectivity, sends its absolute positions on earth (in longitudes and latitudes) to a base station or gateway computer continuously. The gateway computer system processes these data and records these co-ordinates. Users of the AVL system uses a web browser based application software, to view and monitor the locations, speed etc of the vehicle. The location of the vehicle is displayed online on a map on the screen.
